Installation of 860 meters of 350mm Ø Ductile Iron Watermain.
Summary
Over the course of 30 days, IWC crews completed the installation of 860 meters of 350mm Ø Ductile Iron Pipe complete with multiple water service connections, tie-ins and hydrant installations along Smiley Road. This was a crucial project for the Municipality of North Cowichan (MNC) as this watermain is one of 2 trunk mains that supply water to the community of Chemainus. With a dedicated team, well-serviced equipment, and proper planning, IWC was able to execute another successful project for the MNC.
